Managing the Photo Gallery in Zulu 3.0

1. Click on 'Gallery' in the left hand menu

2. Click on 'New Gallery' in the top left corner

3. Enter a title for your Gallery

4. Click on 'Publish Gallery'

The Gallery must be saved before photos can be added. The page will refresh without reloading the page.

5. Click on 'SELECT FILES' in the bottom right hand corner

Add a feature image if desired - This will show up as the Gallery image

6. Click on 'SELECT FILES' under the 'Gallery Images' title

These will form the bulk of the gallery

7. A dropdown box will appear

Select image file you want to import and the click on the image you want and click on 'Open'

8. It should look somthing like this

9. Click 'Save Image' located in the top right corner

10. The end result should look like this

Depending whether you added a feature image or not, this may be blank. The gallery name will be shown at the bottom of the box - Here it is 'Gallery Example'.

11. The name of the image and text can be added

The Content (description will be added below the image when the image is viewed in your site) can be added here.

1. Click on the 'Gallery Categories' tab located on the right panel

Located halfway down the panel.

2. Click on 'New Gallery Category' located top left of the page

3. Enter a Gallery Category title

4. Enter the title and clcik 'Publish Gallery Category'

The page will refresh but will return you to the same page.

1. Click on 'Gallery' in the left hand menu

2. Click the 'Edit' Buttom (blue) on the Gallery to wish to link

3. Click on 'Configuration'

The box will expand.

4. Click on 'Category'

A drop down menu will appear (these are the Gallery Categories that you previously made). Click the appropriate one.

5. Click 'Save Gallery'

6. If succesful, the menu item sould link to the correct Gallery Category

The menu item should link to the correct Gallery Category and that Gallery Category should in turn retrieve the right Gallery (here the Gallery is called 'New Costumes'. The Gallery Category name should also be view-able at the of the Gallery (here 'New').

1. Linking a menu item to a Gallery Category

This procedure links the top menu items (i.e. Services, About Us etc) to a Gallery Category - then a gallery

2. Click on 'Menu' in the right hand control panel

3. Click on the 'Edit' button to the left of the screen witin the 'Main Menu' segment

4. Click on the 'Edit' button within the menu item you want the Gallery Category to be linked to

The menu item (when clicked on) will lead to the Gallery Category previously made. For example, if 'New' was the name of the item that showed at the top of the website, we can edit it to (when clicked) go to a Gallery Category.

5. Click on 'Link Type' and choose 'Gallery Category'

This will be a drop down menu.

6. Click on 'Link To' and choose the Gallery Category you want

Here, the Gallery Category we chose was 'New'

7. Click 'Save Menu Item' located to the right (top) of the page

The item will be saved.
